OSHA Budget Would Cut 10,000 Job Safety Inspections

June 29, 2025 | HEALTH & SAFETY | Trump’s budget for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in the fiscal year starting Oct. 1 would cut job safety inspections nationally by almost 10,000, or one-third, Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) says. Baldwin unveiled the figure at a Senate Labor Committee confirmation hearing for David Keeling to be Trump’s OSHA administrator.
